Mission & Goals

The mission of MoverMoms is to bring busy women together to have ‘Fun With A Purpose’ and to make a positive difference in the larger community. We do that by providing these moms with convenient short-term opportunities to help the larger community beyond our own families, schools, and neighborhoods.  Children, teens, and partners are often invited to attend, depending on the specific nature of the project.

We offer short-term volunteer projects in a wide range of areas in order to help fill the needs of many different local, national and international organizations. We also initiate our own volunteer projects in response to crises that occur in society or in response to an unfilled need in the community.  We meet in various venues to discuss ways that we can make a positive difference in society and to be inspired by others who have and are making a positive difference. Finally, we share information about and attend community events that are of interest to those wanting to be involved and inspired, as well as to make a positive difference.
